DynRisk offers several plots for comparing statistics of data nodes. These plots are referred to as 窶徭eries plots窶, and include 窶廰ine charts窶, 窶廝ar charts窶, 窶廚olumn charts窶 and 窶弃ie charts窶. All these plots have several variations as well.
The settings for the first three plot types are handled by the same dialog box.
Line chart
This plot is very useful to show changes as a function of time, e.g., cash flow or net present value calculations.
Select the data nodes in the order you want them to appear in the plot. Click the 窶廰ine chart窶 button in the toolbar, or select 窶廰ine chart窶 from the 窶廨allery窶 menu. Then enter your 窶廚hart settings窶 into the dialog box, and click the 窶廾K窶 button. The 窶廰ine chart窶 appears.
Bar chart
The 窶廝ar chart窶 report is e.g., useful for displaying schedule nodes. Select the data nodes in the order you want them to appear in the plot. Click the 窶廝ar chart窶 button in the toolbar, or select 窶廝ar chart窶 from the 窶廨allery窶 menu. Then enter your 窶廚hart settings窶 into the dialog box, and click the 窶廾K窶 button. The 窶廝ar chart窶 appears.
Column chart
The 窶廚olumn chart窶 and the 窶廝ar chart窶 are similar plots, but the 窶廚olumn chart窶 displays the bars vertically. Usually the 窶廚olumn chart窶 is a better choice than the 窶廝ar chart窶 when only a few nodes are selected. Select the data nodes in the order you want them to appear in the plot. Click the 窶廚olumn chart窶 button in the toolbar, or select 窶廚olumn chart窶 from the 窶廨allery窶 menu. Then enter your 窶廚hart settings窶 into the dialog box, and click the 窶廾K窶 button. The 窶廚olumn chart窶 appears.
Pie chart
The 窶弃ie chart窶 is very useful for comparing the contribution of different nodes to e.g., a total sum. Select the data nodes in the order you want them to appear in the plot (clockwise in the pie). Click the 窶弃ie chart窶 button in the toolbar, or select 窶弃ie chart窶 from the 窶廨allery窶 menu. Then enter your 窶弃ie settings窶 into the dialog box, and click the 窶廾K窶 button. The 窶弃ie chart窶 appears.
